    摘要: A serial battery charger including a number of serially connected battery charging sections in which the battery charging section is characterized by a first and second parallelly connected branches. The first branch includes terminals for connecting to the battery to be charged and a current blocking device and the second branch includes a by-passing switch which shunts across the terminals of the first branch when activated. The blocking device in the first branch prevents adverse reverse current flow from the battery to the charger when there is no power supply and also functions as a current block to prevent adverse flow of current from the battery into the shunting by-passing switch when the power supply to the charging section is in operation. This invention provides a simple solution to fulfil the conflicting requirements of an intelligent serial battery charger.

    摘要: An electronic guitar music simulation system which includes a guitar shaped keyboard having multiple key switches corresponding to various musical notes. A control processor within the guitar shaped keyboard is utilized to detect each change in a key switch state and infrared transmitter then transmits a unique code corresponding to the change in state for each key switch. A battery powered infrared receiver unit receives each unique code and couples binary codes to the processor of a personal computer system, via an electrical connection to a parallel port of the computer system. A software module within the computer system then converts the binary code into a corresponding audio output signal which may be output via the computer system speaker. A power control circuit within the infrared receiver unit activates the infrared receiver unit only in response to a selected control signal from the computer system, preventing false activation of the infrared receiver unit.

    摘要: A driving mechanism and driving method are provided for driving a detachment tool adapted to detach a chip from an adhesive tape to which the chip is mounted. The mechanism comprises a first actuator coupled to the detachment tool and operative to drive the detachment tool to move along a first axis substantially perpendicular to a surface of the chip, and a second actuator coupled to the detachment tool and operative to drive the detachment tool to move adjacent to a width of the chip along a second axis perpendicular to the first axis. The first actuator is configured to drive the detachment tool for programmable movement along the first axis with respect to the chip in conjunction with the second actuator driving the detachment tool for movement adjacent the width of the chip to provide controlled lifting of the chip for propagation of delamination between the chip and the adhesive tape.
