摘要： An image forming apparatus includes an image processing section to process gradation characteristic of the image data based on a tone curve, an image forming section to form an image based on the image data processed by the image processing section; and a control section to control processing in the image processing section. The control section has a function to adjust characteristic of output density relative to input density of image data as the gradation characteristic as a tone curve via a setting screen, saves operational situations at the time of adjustment of the tone curve on the setting screen as a history, and, when the history is designated, reproduces a state at the time of the past adjustment for the tone curve on the setting screen by using the saved operational situations.
