    摘要: A printer in which when an optical disk is inserted into a conveyance path in a printer body, an inlet cover is moved to a position where the inlet cover opens an inlet in a cover provided on the printer body. This causes a cutter button that operates a cutter for a tape-like printing medium to be locked by the inlet cover. Thus, when the optical disk is printed, the cutter is rendered inoperable. Accordingly, the printer can prevent a trouble such as inadvertently operates the cutter, thereby damaging the disk or the cutter itself.

    摘要: A printer for printing character information on an optical disk using an ink cartridge. The printer comprises a printer cover for opening/closing a cartridge receiving section into which the ink cartridge will be loaded. When the ink cartridge is loaded into the cartridge receiving section, the cover is closed and then the optical disk is inserted into the printer. Then, printing is started. The cover is engaged with the printer body in a closed state. The cover is disengaged by operating an operation button. When the optical disk is inserted into the printer body, an inlet cover is pushed by the optical disk so as to be upstanding. This causes a lock member to protrude so as to engage with the operation button, thereby locking the operation button and hence rendering the cover unopenable.

    摘要: According to one embodiment, an inkjet recording apparatus includes a head body, electrodes, a nozzle plate and a control section. The control section is electrically connected to the electrodes and applies an ejection pulse or a non-ejection pulse to the electrodes. The ejection pulse includes a first voltage change process for increasing the volume of a pressure chamber and a second voltage change process for reducing the volume of the pressure chamber, has width equal to or larger than 0.95 times and equal to or smaller than 1.05 times of a pressure propagation time in the pressure chamber, and ejects the ink from a nozzle. The non-ejection pulse has width equal to or larger than 0.2 times and equal to or smaller than 0.34 times of the width of the ejection pulse and stops the ink in the nozzle.
