Abstract:
An apparatus includes a recording head arranged so as to oppose a sheet moving in a first direction, in which a plurality of first nozzle chips and a plurality of second nozzle chips each having a nozzle array are arranged as different arrays in a second direction crossing the first direction, and in which the first nozzle chips and the second nozzle chips adjacent to each other are shifted from each other in the second direction, a first suction unit opposed to the first nozzle chips and configured to suction ink from a part of the nozzle arrays included in the first nozzle chips, a second suction unit opposed to the second nozzle chips and configured to suction ink from a part of the nozzle arrays included in the second nozzle chips, a suction holder configured to retain the first suction unit and the second suction unit, and a movement mechanism configured to cause relative movement between the recording head and the suction holder in the second direction, wherein the first suction unit and the second suction unit are shifted from each other in the second direction in correspondence with the shift between the first nozzle chips and the second nozzle chips.
Abstract:
A steering device (1) includes: a steering member (4) that is provided in a vehicle (2) and configured to be rotationally operated; an actuator (8) that generates a torque assisting a steering operation on the steering member (4); a detection device (9) that detects a torque applied to a steering shaft portion (5) that rotates together with the steering member (4); and a steering control device (11) that performs vibration suppression control to suppress vibrations transmitted to the steering member (4) by adjusting a torque generated by the actuator (8), on a basis of a detected torque that is a torque detected by the detection device (9). The steering control device (11) controls the actuator (8) such that a torque of a frequency band in a first predetermined range, which corresponds to the detected torque is not suppressed.
Abstract:
When there is no occupant in seats other than a driver seat during a foot mode, an air-conditioning controller executes a single seat concentration mode to prevent blowing of warm air to a passenger seat and a backseat by closing foot outlets on a passenger seat side and a backseat side. In this case, in order to maintain an air volume blown from the foot outlet on a driver seat side when the controller changes the mode from the normal foot mode to the single seat concentration mode, the controller sets a blower level to be lower than in the case of the normal foot mode with respect to the same target blown air temperature.
Abstract:
To downsize a drying device that blows gas on a sheet to dry the sheet, a printing apparatus that includes a print head of an inkjet type is provided with a drying unit that dries a sheet printed by a print head. The drying unit has a plurality of conveying rollers that support the sheet; a conveying belt that conveys the sheet; and a nozzle that is arranged between the plurality of conveying rollers in a direction of the conveyance of the sheet by the conveying belt and blows gas toward the sheet. The nozzle has a blowout port and the blowout port is tilted with respect to a surface of the sheet, which is supported by the conveying rollers.
Abstract:
In an inkjet printing apparatus capable of automatic duplex printing, time required to fix ink is shortened and throughput is improved without producing uneven fixing. The inkjet printing apparatus includes a printing unit that prints onto a sheet, a fixing unit that heats a sheet printed by the printing unit, a conveying unit that conveys a sheet with respect to the printing unit and the fixing unit, and a controller that controls the conveying unit such that a printing region of a sheet printed on the first side by the printing unit passes through the fixing unit, and afterwards, the conveyance direction of the sheet is reversed in order to print on the second side and the printing region once again passes through the fixing unit. The controller variably controls the conveyance speed of the sheet when the printing region once again passes through the fixing unit.
Abstract:
The invention provides an apparatus including: a rotatable belt having an outer surface and an inner surface, the outer surface partially coming into contact with a sheet; a plurality of rollers being arranged in a direction of movement of the sheet and including a first roller and a second roller adjacent to each other, the plurality of rollers being pressed against the outer surface and the moving sheet being nipped between the plurality of rollers and the outer surface; a blowing mechanism configured to blow hot air from between the first roller and the second roller toward the sheet; and a heating unit including a heater and a contact surface coming into contact with the inner surface, the heating unit being configured to be able to set the contact surface thereof to have a predetermined non-uniform temperature distribution.
Abstract:
A drying apparatus includes: a rotatable belt which has an outer surface and an inner surface, the outer surface contacts a sheet; a blowing mechanism which blows hot air on the sheet at a side of the outer surface; and a heating unit which includes a heating element and a contact surface which is disposed in contact with the inner surface. A plurality of rollers are arranged in a direction in which the sheet travels. The rollers are pressed against the outer surface of the belt with the travelling sheet being held between the rollers and the outer surface of the belt.
Abstract:
A supply unit is provided to supply humidified gas near a nozzle array of a line-type recording head. The flow-rate distribution of the supplied humidified gas in a direction of the nozzle array is changeable in accordance with a conveying region where a sheet is conveyed while opposing the nozzle array.
Abstract:
An electromagnetic relay for starting a motor of a starter includes a resistor to reduce an activation current that flows through the motor from a battery for activation of the motor, a relay contact that causes the starting current to flow while bypassing the resistor, a relay coil that forms an electromagnet when excited by energization, and a control circuit that controls an excited state of the relay coil for activation of the motor to open or close the relay contact, thus controlling energization of the motor from the battery via the resistor. The electromagnetic relay incorporates therein the control circuit.
