    摘要: In order to attain an object to realize an ion beam capable of (i) immediately determining energy of the ion beam to be generated, and (ii) measuring an ion beam in real time while carrying out laser irradiation, an ion beam detector (1) of the present invention includes a light conversion section (7) transmitting X-rays mixed in with ions (3) and converting the ions (3) to light; a light detection section (9) detecting, as an electric signal, the light converted from the ions (3) by the light converting section (7); a time-of-flight measurement section (10) measuring a time of flight for the ions (3) to reach the light conversion section (7); an electron removal section (5) removing electrons mixed in with the ions (3) and a light shielding section (6) shielding light mixed in with the ions (3), each of which is provided in an upstream of the light conversion section from which the ion beam comes to the light conversion section; and a curved section (8) between the light conversion section (7) and the light detection section (9), curved with respect to an optical axis of the ions (3) incident on the light conversion section (7).

    摘要: An electromagnet comprises a pair of magnetic pole 1a and 1b, a return yoke 3, exciting coils 4 and 5, etc. In an interior portion of a magnetic pole, plural spacers 2a-2g are provided putting side by side in a horizontal direction. Each of the spaces 2a-2g is an air layer and a longitudinal cross-section is a substantially rectangular shape and the space has a lengthily extending slit shape in a vertical direction against a paper face in FIG. 1. The plural spaces are mainly arranged toward a right side from a beam orbit center O and an interval formed between adjacent spaces is narrower toward the right side. The electromagnet having a simple magnetic pole structure and a wide effective magnetic field area in a case where a maximum magnetic field strength is increased can be secured.

    摘要: The objective of the present invention is to provide a waveguide and resonator capable of suppressing the energy loss due to the skin effect. A conductive material layer is formed in the vicinity of an inside tube in the region between an outside tube and the inside tube which share the central axis and are made of a conductive material. A spacer layer (space) is formed between the surface of the inside tube and the conductive material layer. In the spacer layer, the end is thicker than the center in the layered body of the spacer layer and the conductive material layer. With the provision of such a layered body, the energy loss due to the skin effect can be suppressed. The effect becomes more prominent with a larger difference of the thickness of the spacer layer between the center and the end.

    摘要: An ion beam accelerating device includes an accelerating cavity including an accelerating cavity outer conductor having a space therein, two accelerating cavity inner conductors though which an ion beam passes and which penetrate respective side walls of the accelerating cavity outer conductor and are separated from each other by a gap in the accelerating cavity outer conductor, and a plurality of magnetic cores disposed in the accelerating cavity outer conductor and surrounding one or both of the accelerating cavity inner conductors. The ion beam accelerating device further includes a plurality of high frequency magnetic field generating units equal in number to the magnetic cores for inducing respective high frequency magnetic fields in respective ones of the magnetic cores, thereby generating an accelerating voltage across the gap so as to accelerate the ion beam passing through the accelerating cavity inner conductors. Alternatively, the magnetic cores may be divided into a plurality of groups of magnetic cores, and the ion beam accelerating device may include a plurality of high frequency magnetic field generating units equal in number to the groups of magnetic cores for inducing respective high frequency magnetic fields in respective ones of the groups of magnetic cores.
