    摘要: A resource allocation method in orthogonal frequency division multiple access wireless systems includes: setting, for each of terminals, data transmission factors including a resource location selection scheme; and determining, for each frame, locations of resources to be allocated to the terminals in a resource allocation order by using the resource location selection schemes. Determining the locations of the resources includes: setting the resource allocation order for the terminals according to priorities of the terminals; selecting resources to be allocated to a terminal by using the resource location selection scheme for the terminal; determining whether all or some of the selected resources have been already allocated to other terminals; and allocating the selected resources to the terminal, if it is determined that the selected resources have not been already allocated to other terminals.

    摘要: The present invention relates to a method and to an apparatus for allocating a bandwidth in a wideband wireless communication system. Said method comprises: allocating a bandwidth to an uplink burst area in accordance with the bandwidth request received from at least one terminal; determining whether a preemptive grant bandwidth allocation is enabled or not; determining a preemptive grant terminal if the preemptive grant bandwidth allocation is enabled; and allocating a preemptive grant bandwidth within a residual bandwidth to the determined preemptive grant terminal. By doing this, the present invention can efficiently use the bandwidth of an uplink frame, and shorten the time taken for bandwidth request/approval between a terminal and a base station.

    摘要: An orthogonal resource block hopping multiplexing (ORBHM) method and apparatus in a wired/wireless communication system in which a plurality of communication channels coexist in a single medium. The orthogonal resource block hopping multiplexing (ORBHM) communication system consists of a first communication station and a plurality of second communication stations. It uses a hopping sequence of basic orthogonal resource blocks for transmission from a first communication station to a second communication station. A basic orthogonal resource block is a part of the given orthogonal resource and orthogonal to another basic orthogonal resource block. The QRBHM uses a statistical multiplexing concept in multiplexing and transmitting messages to a plurality of second communication station by assigning basic orthogonal resource blocks every time slot in a hopping manner based on hopping patterns determined at the initial setup stage of a call or a session.
