Abstract:
A communication entrepreneur has an application server 2 having message conversion function. The application server 2 performs service function distribution processing with reference to trigger rule 220 and message rule 230. The communication entrepreneur can provide various service functions without notifying individual server addresses to a service entrepreneur.
Abstract:
A transport control server coupled to a plurality of nodes in a network through which a plurality of traffics passes through is provided. The transport control server is configured to receive bandwidth information from each of the nodes when the traffics pass through the nodes. For each of the traffics, the transport control server calculates bandwidths at an entry edge node and at an exit edge node based on the received bandwidth information. The transport control server defines as a first traffic, based on the calculated bandwidths at the entry edge node and the exit edge node, a traffic having a discarded bandwidth that is larger than a first predetermined bandwidth. Also, the transport control server defines as a second traffic, based on the received bandwidth information, a first traffic having a bandwidth at the two or more nodes that exceeds a specified second bandwidth.
Abstract:
A cooperating system includes a web server and a communication service control server, where information of an error in a communication network is not notified until the web server makes an inquiry to the communication service control server. To solve this problem, a communication system is configured to include a session control server for controlling communication sessions from/to a plurality of terminals, an application server for communicating with the session control server, a web server for communicating with the application server, and a network for coupling the session control server, the application server and the web server. The application server is configured to transmit status related information including information on each communication session status of the plurality of terminals to the web server. The web server is configured to detect each communication session status of the plurality of terminals based on the received status related information.
Abstract:
There is a need to extract a traffic related to congestion in consideration of an entire network. Multiple traffics are received from multiple nodes. There is available information about bandwidths for the traffics passing through nodes. Bandwidths for the traffics at an entry node and an exit node are extracted from the bandwidth information. Each traffic first passes through the entry node and last passes through the exit node. A bandwidth is dropped when the traffic passes through the nodes. The dropped bandwidth is calculated based on the extracted bandwidths for the traffics at the entry node and the exit node. The calculated bandwidth to be dropped is compared with a specified first bandwidth. One or more first traffics are extracted because of having the dropped bandwidth larger than the first bandwidth. Based on band information, a second traffic is extracted from the extracted first traffic. The second traffic has a bandwidth that is dropped at two or more nodes for the first traffic to pass through and exceeds a specified second bandwidth.
Abstract:
A computer receives one or more processing requests from at least one or more clients through a network and executes an application for processing the received processing requests using a Java servlet. The processing requests each contain one or more addresses as the destinations of the processing requests. The computer is connected to a database including the following information: application information in which an identifier that uniquely identifies each application and binary logic for executing the application are brought into correspondence with each other; and adapter information in which the identifier and each of the addresses are brought into correspondence with each other. When the computer receives the processing request, it identifies the binary logic based on an address contained in the received processing request and executes the identified binary logic and thereby executes the application.
Abstract:
Provided is an application filtering apparatus for controlling session, which is coupled to a network which is coupled to a plurality of terminal devices, a first server for managing subscriber information of the terminal devices, and a second server for providing a service to the terminal devices, the application filtering apparatus comprising: an interface coupled to the network; a processor coupled to the memory; and a memory coupled to the processor, wherein the application filtering apparatus is configured to: obtain the subscriber information from the first server; obtain, when one of the terminal devices sends a session control message to the second server, an identifier of the terminal device that has sent from the received session control message; and send, based on the obtained subscriber information and the obtained identifier of the terminal device, an instruction to control the service to the second server via the interface.
Abstract:
One of network classifications or line classifications is selected and used for one network function. A line classification selection server stores network function information including one or both of communication quality information of a network and billing information for each of network classifications of plural networks. The selection server receives a service start request from a service provider. The selection server refers to the network function information based on the network condition information included in the request, and selects a network classification satisfying the communication quality condition and/or the billing condition. The selection server transmits a server start request including service classification information and identification information of a user terminal to a 3PCC server of the selected network classification. The 3PCC server receives the request, and performs communication control for providing a communication service of the service classification information to designated user terminal.
Abstract:
A home presence server has a storage area in which a SIP URI (hereinafter URI) of a call destination and a URI of a transfer destination are correspondingly stored. When a SIP server in a network receives a call-out request containing the URI of a first terminal being a call origination source and the URI of a second terminal being the call destination, it transfers the request to the home presence server. The home presence server acquires the URI of the transfer destination corresponding to the URI of the second terminal from the storage area, and transmits acquired URI to the SIP server. The SIP server transmits a call-out request containing the URI of the first terminal being the call origination source and the URI of a third terminal being the transfer destination, to the first terminal through a network, and the first terminal communicates with the third terminal.
Abstract:
In a cache control assuming plural user terminals accessing identical content, cache delete priority assignment is performed from a position where a user finished playback based on whether the user intends to view the content later. A cache control server is provided, and a cache delete inhibit span is determined based on a playback stop position or a normal speed playback time. A cache server deletes the cache based on the delete inhibit span received from the cache control server. Traffic of the core network due to re-cache can thus be reduced.
Abstract:
Since, in Mobile IP, the correspondence of one Mobile Node home address and a care-of address is assumed to be one to one, it is not possible to associate multiple care-of addresses with one home addresses, select an appropriate care-of address from among these and dynamically modify the forwarding destination. In the invention, the binding update sent by the Mobile Node to the Home Agent is extended in order to make it possible to also report the application ID at the same time. The Home Agent selects an appropriate care-of address, based on the application ID.
