Abstract: Various embodiments of a breathing tube retainer and a respirator that utilizes the breathing tube retainer are disclosed. In one or more embodiments, the breathing tube retainer can include a mask attachment portion configured to connect the retainer to a face mask of a respirator, and a tube attachment portion including an arm that connects the tube attachment portion to the mask attachment portion. The tube attachment portion can further include a tube receiver configured to receive a breathing tube of the respirator.

Abstract: A vacuum molding roll sleeve (100, 700, 800)comprises a body (119, 818, 819) comprising a mold wall portion (120, 820) disposed between a molding surface (110, 1210, 710, 810) and at least one vacuum surface (130, 830). The molding surface (110, 1210, 710, 810) has shaped depressed features and has first openings (112, 812) disposed therein at first predetermined positions (134). Each first opening (112, 812) is spaced apart from the at least one vacuum surface (130, 830) by a respective minimum thickness (135, 835). The at least one vacuum surface (130, 830) has second openings (132, 832) disposed therein at second predetermined positions (134). The first openings (112, 812) are fluidly connected to the second openings (132, 832) by conduits (140, 840) wherein, on a respective basis, at least some of the conduits (140, 840) are longer than the minimum thickness (135, 835) between the first openings (112, 812) and the vacuum surface (130, 830). Abstract: A respirator is described that includes a mask body and at least one housing directly or indirectly coupled to the mask body. The at least one housing includes a pair of slots spaced apart from each other, a cantilevered snap feature disposed between the pair of slots, and a latch connected to the cantilevered snap feature. The respirator further includes at least one cover movably coupled to the at least one housing and including a pair of arms. Each of the pair of arms is disposed adjacent to a corresponding slot from the pair of slots and includes a wide end portion. The at least one cover further includes an elongate member extending between the pair of arms and connected to the wide end portion of each of the pair of arms. The elongate member is at least partially received through each of the pair of slots.

Abstract: Techniques are described for automating the design and manufacture a dental restoration appliance for restoring the dental anatomy of a patient. For example, a system processes a digital three-dimensional (3D) model of a future (desired) dental anatomy of a patient, the future dental anatomy representing an intended shape of at least one tooth of the patient. The system includes a landmark identifier configured to automatically compute, based on the digital 3D model of the future dental anatomy of the patient, one or more landmarks of the future dental anatomy of the patient. The system also includes a custom feature generator configured to automatically generate, based on the one or more landmarks, one or more custom appliance features for a dental appliance for restoring the at least one tooth of the patient. The system further includes a memory device configured to store a digital model of the dental appliance.
