Abstract: The present disclosure provides antimicrobial compositions including a polyhaloolefin polymer, a cationic antimicrobial agent, and a vehicle that includes a plasticizer and a heat stabilizer. The cationic antimicrobial agent can be partially soluble in the vehicle. The present disclosure also provides for articles formed from the composition, with cationic antimicrobial agent incorporated throughout the polymer matrix, as well as methods of manufacturing the composition.
