Abstract: The present invention is a cleaning composition including a binder, a gas generator, an acid, and at least about 0.1% water. The cleaning article has an aged Shore A hardness of at least about 10, an aged Shore D hardness of up to about 100, and a dissolution time of between about 1 minute and about 60 minutes.
