Abstract: A security apparatus for securing a portable electronic device to an immovable object includes a locking head including a first part having a first base portion configured to be inserted into an opening of the portable electronic device, a second part that is separate from the first part, the second part having a second base portion configured to be inserted into the opening, and an aperture formed through the first part and the second part. The security apparatus also includes a cable threaded through the aperture to inhibit separation of the first part from the second part and removal of the locking head from the opening. The cable is configured to engage the immovable object.

The movable engagement element is movable between an unlocked configuration, in which the movable engagement element is closer to the stabilizing element and the locking head is insertable into the portable electronic device, and a locked configuration, in which the movable engagement element is further from the stabilizing element and the locking head is secured to the portable electronic device.

Abstract: A security apparatus for securing a portable electronic device to an immovable object includes a locking head having a base and a plurality of pillar structures extending from the base.
