    摘要： An apparatus for dispensing a two-part adhesive includes a first collapsible bag containing a first part of the two-part adhesive, a second collapsible bag containing a second part of the two-part adhesive, and a manifold that communicates with the first collapsible bag and the second collapsible bag. The manifold includes a first projection device that pierces the first collapsible bag and a second projection device that pierces the second collapsible bag. Each part flows from its respective collapsible bag into the manifold after the bag is pierced. The manifold directs each part of the two-part adhesive separately through the manifold and out of an exit of the manifold.

    摘要： An apparatus for concurrently applying to a substrate a plurality of substantially parallel strips of an adhesive is provided. The apparatus includes a housing or carrier with motive supports for transporting the carrier along a path of travel over the substrate. A plurality of cradles are mounted on the carrier and are arranged in a line transversely of the path of travel of the carrier over the substrate. Each cradle is adapted to hold a canister of the adhesive. A discharging mechanism is mounted on the carrier and is adapted, when a driving force is applied, to concurrently discharge the adhesive from the plurality of canisters in the cradles. Also mounted on the carrier is an actuating mechanism for selectively providing a driving force to the discharging mechanism. The discharging mechanism may include at least one plunger located at each cradle.

    摘要： A two part adhesive packaging system is provided. The packaging system includes two containers for holding a two-part adhesive. The packaging system further includes a connector having two ports for communicating with the containers. A membrane is adhered overtop the ports to prevent the two-part adhesive from draining from the containers. The membrane is configured to break upon application of a sufficient force thereon, such as by pumping or pushing the two-part adhesive from the containers.
