    摘要: A recovery system is provided to recover energy from heat. In an embodiment, the system includes an evaporator to receive a flow of natural gas at a first temperature and output the flow at a second, lower temperature. The evaporator may receive a flow of cooling media to cool the natural gas and output a flow of heated cooling media. The system may further include: a heat-to-mechanical energy converter coupled to the evaporator to receive the flow of heated cooling media and to output first cooled cooling media; an induction generator coupled to be driven by the heat-to-mechanical energy converter; a medium voltage drive coupled to receive power from the induction generator and to condition the power for output to an electrical distribution system; and a condenser to condense the first cooled cooling media to provide the flow of cooling media to the evaporator.

    摘要: In various embodiments, a mobile, open-air, electrical skid may provide electrical power from high voltage power lines via one or more electrical components to natural gas compressors at a natural gas compressor site. In several embodiments, the open-air skid may be of a size that can fit on a flat-bed trailer so that the skid can be transported to the site, and the open-air skid may not have side walls to allow for air flowing across the components. The electrical components may include an electric variable frequency drive, a sync reactor, one or more motor relays, an input cabinet, one or more motor control cabinets, a remote cooling unit, and/or other electrical components utilized to start-up one or more natural gas compressors and keep the one or more natural gas compressors running.
