Abstract: A fixed window glass assembly with a resin frame, wherein the resin frame is attached to a peripheral edge portion of a fixed window glass to be mounted to a vehicle and has a guide portion for guiding an elevating window glass, the resin frame is formed of an integrally molded product including a harder portion and a softer portion covering the harder portion, the harder portion being formed in a U-character shape in section to wrap the peripheral edge portion of the fixed window glass in a thickness direction thereof. The harder portion includes a buffer portion at a part of the peripheral edge portion of the fixed window glass to buffer stresses to be generated between the fixed window glass and the resin frame.

Abstract: A process for producing a plate-like body with a resin frame having a decorative molding, wherein the decorative molding includes a main part and a film formed on a surface and has a design part exposed on a surface of the resin frame and an embedded part in the resin frame. The film continuously covers the design part and the embedded part. The process includes a step of mounting the decorative molding on a mold for forming the resin frame and further mounting a plate-like body, and a step of injecting a molten resin into a cavity of the mold and forming a resin frame with the decorative molding thereon into a window glass while a film at a portion located at a boundary between the design part and the embedded part is pressed against the mold by an injection pressure of the molten resin and thermally deformed.

Abstract: To provide a holder-equipped window glass capable of increasing the quality and productivity and capable of preventing breakage of the window glass to be caused by attachment of the holder, and a process for its production. A holder main body 18 is an integrally molded product comprising an inner layer portion 26 and an outer layer portion 28. The inner layer portion 26 is constructed to be U-shaped in cross section to clamp a part of a lower edge 12B of a window glass 12 in the thickness direction of the lower edge 12B. Further, the outer layer portion 28 is located outside the inner layer portion 26, is made of a material harder than the inner layer portion 26 and is constructed to be U-shaped in cross section. This outer layer portion 28 is provided with a connecting portion 16. This connection portion 16 is projecting in a direction departing form the lower edge 12B of the window glass 12.
