Abstract: A vulcanizing agent and other component chemicals necessary for rubber formulation are added to a coprecipitate containing chloroprene rubber and barium silicate, and the rubber compound so obtained is subjected to blending. Further, the rubber compound is overlaid with a metal sheet and vulcanized under application of heat and pressure, whereby a metal and chloroprene rubber composite material is produced.
