Abstract:
A colorphotographic material with at least one silver halide emulsion layer which contains in dispersed form a color coupler substituted with a dicyclopentyl phenoxy group. This substitution lowers the melting point of the coupler and increases its solubility in solvents used to incorporate the couplers in photographic layers. Layers with these couplers are accordingly more stable.
Abstract:
THE LIGHT STABILITY OF COLOR PHOTOGRAPHIC IMAGES IS IMPROVED BY COVERCOATING THE IMAGE CARRYING LAYER WITH A UVPROTECTIVE COATING WHICH CONTAINS A UV-ABSORBING COMPOUND. THE UV-ABSORBING LAYER CONTAINS AS UV-ABSORBENT A 2-PHENOLBENZOTRIAZOLE, THE BENZO RING OF WHICH IS SUBSTITUTED WITH 2 BUTYL GROUPS.
Abstract:
INDAZOLONES HAVING A CARBAMYL SUBSTITUTION IN THE BENZENE RING MAKE PARTICULARLY DISIRABLE MAGNETA-FORMING COLOR COUPLERS FOR COLOR PHOTOGRAPH.
Abstract:
The light stability of color photographic images is improved by overcoating the image carrying layer with a UV-protective coating which contains a UV-absorbing compound. The UV-absorbing layer contains as UV-absorbent a 2-phenolbenzotriazole, the benzo ring of which is substituted with at least 1 alkoxy group.
Abstract:
A light-sensitive photographic material with at least one silver halide emulsion layer which contains indazolone derivatives as couplers for the production of the magenta partial image, which indazolone couplers are represented by the following formula:
WHEREIN THE RADICALS R1, R2, X, Y and Z are denoted in the description.
