Abstract: In one embodiment, a dual configuration aircraft lavatory includes a plurality of walls enclosing and defining a lavatory interior space, wherein one of the walls is coextensive with a portion of the cabin. Within the lavatory interior space are a toilet, a washing station and a waste receptacle movable between a first position and a second position. In the first position, the waste receptacle is attached to a wall of the lavatory between the washing station and a door wall. In the second position, the waste receptacle occupies a second predetermined volume of space in the aircraft cabin separated from a first predetermined volume of space occupied by the waste receptacle in the first position. Moving the waste receptacle from the first position to the second position reveals additional space within the lavatory sufficient so that two adult humans simultaneously fit within the lavatory interior space.

Abstract: An arrangement for selectively arresting a serving trolley in a cabin includes a walling extending perpendicularly to a cabin floor. The walling has a height at least equal to the height of a serving trolley. The arrangement has an upper arresting unit positioned at an upper fastening section of the walling and a lower arresting unit positioned at a lower fastening section of the walling. The upper arresting unit has a first engagement element and a second engagement element, wherein at least one of the engagement elements is movable relative to the other engagement element. The upper arresting unit releasably engages two distanced recesses at an upper end of the serving trolley by way of the engagement elements. The lower arresting unit includes at least one third engagement element and is designed for engaging a bottom side component of the serving trolley by way of the third engagement element.

Abstract: A floor arrangement for a cabin of a vehicle, in particular of an aircraft or spacecraft, comprises a carrier plate formed with a multiplicity of first fastening perforations and a multiplicity of reinforcing notches. The first fastening perforations are arranged one behind another in fastening rows at a uniform longitudinal distance. The fastening rows are oriented parallel at a uniform transverse distance from one another at an angle of orientation of 45° with respect to a longitudinal direction of the floor arrangement. The reinforcing notches run along the angle of orientation in a manner offset with respect to the fastening rows. A floor panel is formed with a multiplicity of second fastening perforations and is arranged above the carrier plate such that the second fastening perforations are arranged above the first fastening perforations to fasten cabin elements through the floor panel to the carrier plate.

Abstract: A cabin arrangement for a vehicle includes a first lateral segment module having a first main extension axis, a second lateral segment module having a second main extension axis, and an aisle. The main extension axes run parallel to each other, wherein the first lateral segment module and the second lateral segment module are distanced from each other in a direction perpendicular to the main extension axes and enclose the aisle between each other. The aisle runs parallel to the main extension axes, and the first lateral segment module has a receiving space that receives serving trolleys. The receiving space has an opening that faces into the aisle. The receiving space is designed to receive serving trolleys arranged transverse to the first main extension axis and staggered parallel to the first main extension axis.
