Abstract: Heat for maintaining operating pressure in a single phase cryogenic fluid at or above the critical pressure is provided by controllably circulating a portion of the warmed delivery fluid in heat exchange with the storage fluid. The circulated delivery fluid is reheated and recombined with the remainder of the delivery fluid. A regulator device having a double acting valve element movable between two opposite positions controls flows respectively to a pressurizing heat exchanger coil and to a bypass leading directly to delivery.
