摘要: An embodiment of a flow control valve includes a housing and a valve member. The valve member is movable in an axial direction within the housing, so that a flow rate of a fluid flowing within the housing changes in response to a position of the valve member within a control range in the axial direction. A spring device biases the valve member in the axial direction, so that the valve member moves in the axial direction against a biasing force of the spring device according to a difference in pressure on an upstream side and a downstream side of the valve member. The spring device includes a spring constant that changes according to the position of the valve member in the axial direction within the control range.

摘要: A flow control valve may include a case and a valve body axially movably disposed within a fluid passage defined in the case. The valve body may have an outer circumferential surface with a flow control surface. The valve body may further include a flange portion positioned on an upstream side of the flow control surface. The flange portion may include a sliding surface and a reference surface. The sliding surface may slidably contact a passage wall surface of the fluid passage. The reference surface may serve as a reference when performing configuration measurement of the flow control surface. The reference surface may extend within a first circumferential range about the axis of the valve body, and the flow control surface may extend within a second circumferential range about the axis of the valve body. The first circumferential range and the second circumferential range may at least partly overlap with each other.

摘要: A PCV valve may include a housing and a valve member movable in an axial direction within the housing. A plurality of guide portions may be formed on the valve member, so that the plurality of guide portions slidably contact the monitoring portion of the housing as the valve member moves in the axial direction. When a first part of a tapered portion of the valve member opposes to the monitoring portion, a first contact part of each of the guide portions may contact the monitoring portion. When a second part of the tapered portion having a smaller diameter than the first part opposes to the monitoring portion, a second contact part of each of the guide portions may contact the monitoring portion. The second contact part may be smaller than the first part with respect to a width in a circumferential direction or may have a circumferential contact length smaller than that of the first part.
