    摘要: An actuator system for a fluid playground including a first elongated tubular member defining a first axially extending enclosure and having a first inlet connectable to a fluid source, and a second elongated tubular member positioned within the first tubular member, the second tubular member defining a second axially extending enclosure, and having a second inlet in fluid communication with the first enclosure and an outlet traversing the first tubular member. The outlet is connectable to at least one fluid playground device. A plug element is shaped to removably and sealably close the second inlet of the second tubular member. A resilient member urges the plug element towards sealing engagement with the second tubular member. A pressure exerted on a movable actuating element connected to the plug element causes its displacement away from sealing engagement with the second inlet, thereby allowing fluid flow to the fluid playground device.

    摘要: The present invention relates to apparatuses, systems, and methods that manage the flow of fluids, such as, for example, water, through pipes. Specifically, the apparatuses of the present invention creates a backward pressure in fluid traversing a pipe when the fluid meets a spring loaded poppet valve, wherein the backward pressure within the pipe provides compression to the fluid effectively compressing entrapped gas bubbles within the fluid. The pressure in front of the poppet valve builds and moves the poppet valve away from a seat allowing the fluid with compressed gas bubbles to flow therefrom, which provides more accurate water meter measurements because less gas is being considered in said measurements. Moreover, the apparatuses of the present invention provide backflow prevention. Systems and methods for managing fluids are further provided.

    摘要: A hydraulic control valve actuated by a diaphragm's integral spring whose thicker part acts with greater force to close the diaphragm and plug unit of the valve and whose thinner part may complete the closing motion so that the integral spring may weaken faster than linearly in relation to displacement of the diaphragm and plug unit. A snap seat supporting the plug may include a seat portion and a grip skirt portion integrally joined at an acute angle. A bracket and sliding guide may guide a helical rotor touching an indicator. Movement of the diaphragm and plug unit may rotate the helical rotor and the indicator without the indicator rising out of the valve. The cover may have an internal control passage in communication with a base of the valve to allow the cover to be installed horizontally and vertically conveniently and without disconnecting the control tubing above the valve.

    摘要: The invention generally relates to a flow control device and a flow control methods. One embodiment provides a flow control device comprising: a first flow path to allow fluid to flow from an inlet port provided on an inlet side of the device to an outlet port provided on an outlet side of the device; a closure element arranged to prevent fluid flow along the first fluid path in a direction from the outlet port to the inlet port; and an arrangement adapted to open a second fluid path, different along at least part of its length from the first fluid path, in dependence upon the pressure of fluid at the outlet side, the second fluid path allowing fluid to flow from a first relief port provided on the outlet side to a second relief port provided on the inlet side, wherein the flow control device comprises an inner body part and an outer body part, the inner body part being sealingly arranged and moveable within the outer body part (4b; 40b) between a first position and a second position under the influence of the pressure of fluid at the outlet side, wherein a first part of the second fluid path is formed within the inner body part and a second part of the second fluid path is formed within the outer body part, the first and second parts of the second fluid path being in communication with one another when the inner body part is in the second position but not when the inner body part is in the first position, thereby opening the second fluid path when the inner body part moves from the first position to the second position.
