Abstract: The present invention relates to a composition for preventing or treating an inflammatory disease induced by an autoimmune response, the composition comprising a peptide or a peptide mixture as an active ingredient. More specifically, the composition containing, as an active ingredient, peptide P1 to P5 or a mixture thereof may be provided as a treatment agent for an inflammatory disease induced by an autoimmune response, as alleviation of a skin ulcer and skin inflammation in a mouse model with psoriasis was confirmed and an inflammatory symptom in a model with enteritis was alleviated as results of intraperitoneally injecting or applying, as an externally administered agent on the skin, peptide P1 to P5 or the mixture thereof to the mouse animal models with psoriasis and the inflammatory bowel disease, which are inflammatory diseases induced by an autoimmune response.

Abstract: A pharmaceutical composition for preventing or treating inflammatory disease comprising snake venom is disclosed. More specifically, the pharmaceutical composition or quasi-drug includes venom of Agkistrodon piscivorus piscivorus or Naja melanoleuca as an active ingredient. A method for preventing or treating inflammatory disease includes administering the venom of Agkistrodon piscivorus piscivorus or Naja melanoleuca to a subject. The composition can increase the expression of C-C chemokine receptor type 1 (CCR1) in a mouse where skin ulcer is induced and thus has an excellent effect of treating skin ulcers, and thus can be effectively used for the treatment of skin ulcers, in particular Behcet's disease or Buerger's disease.

Abstract: The present invention relates to a composition for preventing or treating Behcet’s disease and rheumatoid arthritis, the composition containing a peptide or a mixture thereof as an active ingredient. More specifically, an intraperitoneal injection or application of P1 to P5 peptides or a mixture thereof as a skin external preparation to a mouse animal model having Behcet’s disease caused by autoimmune response was found to ameliorate skin ulcers and skin inflammation in the Behcet’s disease mouse model, and an arthritis amelioration effect on a rheumatoid arthritis animal model was also observed. Accordingly, the composition containing P1 to P5 peptides or mixtures thereof as active ingredients can be provided as medicine for Behcet’s disease and rheumatoid arthritis.

Abstract: A method of preparing a mouse model of herpes using a herpes simplex virus and hydrocortisone, and a mouse model of herpes prepared the method are disclosed. When the preparation method is used, an animal model in which the symptoms of herpes clearly appear can be prepared, and thus the animal model can be widely used in the development of therapeutic agents for herpes simplex virus infection. A use of the mouse model in screening and developing a candidate therapeutic agent is also disclosed.
