Abstract: A winding for a rotating electric machine includes conductive bars having straight parts and end windings and terminal portions of the end windings that are connected together. A protective cap is disposed on at least a portion of each respective connected end winding terminal portion. An electrical insulating material is disposed between each end winding terminal portion and respective protective cap and a seal is inside each protective cap.
