Abstract: When an event prevents a train from moving along a route in a nominal direction, this method makes it possible to cause it to circulate in an opposite direction by: selecting (120) an origin zone and an output signal; drawing (130) a pseudo-route on the successive zones between the origin zone and the output signal; opening (140) the pseudo-route by associating a sub-route with each zone, corresponding to the reservation of said zone for said train; informing (150) the train that it must circulate in the opposite direction; determining (160) a movement authorization for the train from sub-routes that are open and a list of obstacles that is updated regularly; sending (180) the movement authorization to the train, the determination (160) and transmission (170) steps being iterated until the train crosses the output signal.

Abstract: Disclosed is a method, implemented in a supervision system for trains of the “communication-based train management” type, which includes the steps, carried out by a zone controller, including: during nominal operation, periodically saving an image of a current operational situation on an external memory; and, after a downtime period and rebooting of the zone controller: establishing an image of the operational situation after rebooting; recovering, from the external memory, the most recent saved image as image of the operational situation before failure; collecting information on the crossing of borders of the zone associated with the zone controller during the downtime period; and verifying the coherence of the image of the operational situation after rebooting from the image of the operational situation before failure and crossing information.

Abstract: This system includes a ground ATC and an on board ATC, which is switched from an “active” mode toward a “standby” mode and vice versa by a wake-up unit. In the “standby” mode, only the following components remain powered: odometry device; a main computer; a radio communication device between the on board ATC and the ground ATC; the wake-up unit. The main computer is programmed so as, in the “standby” mode, to verify that the movement of the train measured by the odometry device from the switching from the “active” mode to the “standby” mode is zero and, in the affirmative, to send the ground ATC an instantaneous position of the train using the radio communication device.
