摘要： Provided are a rear cover of a portable terminal, which is formed from a metallic material and is capable of operating as an auxiliary radiator of a near-field communication antenna pattern by forming slits thereon, and a portable terminal having the same. The provided rear cover is formed from a metallic material, has a slit part, allows a near-field communication antenna and the slit part to form an overlapping area when the rear cover is mounted on the rear surface of the portable terminal, and operates as the auxiliary radiator of the near-field communication antenna through the coupling of the near-field communication antenna and the slit part in the overlapping area.
