Abstract: A system for supplying power to a rechargeable electrical accumulation battery for a motor vehicle driven by an electric or hybrid powertrain includes a device for determining a maximum acceptable power for the battery depending on a first maximum power corresponding to a regenerating phase and on a second maximum power corresponding to a phase of charging the battery.
