Abstract: A method includes obtaining a navigation instruction that is associated with a first location along a roadway, wherein the roadway defines multiple lanes, and the navigation instruction specifies a first lane from the multiple lanes. The method also includes obtaining a first image of the roadway from an imaging device that is located with a vehicle that is travelling along the roadway toward the first location, determining, based on the first image, that the vehicle is located in a second lane from the multiple lanes, and in response to determining that the vehicle is located in the second lane, outputting a first notification that instructs a driver of the vehicle to move the vehicle to the first lane.
