Abstract: Systems and methods provide a route and turn-by-turn directions based on estimates of current and future traffic along the route. A client device may request turn-by-turn directions between an initial and a final location. A server may identify a plurality of routes between the locations. Each route of the plurality of routes may be divided into route segments. For each route segment of a particular route, the server may estimate a travel time. The travel time may be based on estimated vehicle volume data generated from information received from other vehicles. The server may estimate a total travel time for the particular route. The server may repeat this estimate for each of the plurality of routes between the locations and select the route with the lowest estimated travel time. Based on the selected route, the server may generate turn-by-turn directions and transmit the directions to the client device for display.

Abstract: In a driving information display device and method, the driving information display device includes: a processor configured to receive driving guidance information, and to output map-based guidance information or augmented reality-based guidance information based on the driving guidance information; and a storage unit electrically and communicatively connected to the processor and configured to store road information and an algorithm. The processor is further configured to: receive the location information of a vehicle; identify a driving route of the vehicle and a guidance point; determine the augmented reality-based guidance information to be guidance information to be output when the distance from the location of the vehicle to the guidance point is equal to or shorter than a predetermined first reference distance; determine the map-based guidance information to be the guidance information to be output when the distance from the location of the vehicle to the guidance point exceeds the first reference distance; and generate a control command.

Abstract: Systems, methods, and autonomous vehicles for automated lane conflict estimation may obtain map data associated with a map of a geographic location including a roadway, determine, based on the map data, a relative lane geometry between a first lane segment and a second lane segment of a pair of overlapping lane segments; process, with a machine learning model, the relative lane geometry and a type of a traffic signal or sign associated with the pair of overlapping lane segments to generate a prediction of whether the first lane segment yields to the second lane segment for a given state of the traffic signal or sign; and use the prediction to at least one of generate a map including the lane segment associated with the prediction, facilitate at least one autonomous driving operation of an autonomous vehicle, or any combination thereof.

Abstract: Methods, systems, and apparatus, including computer programs encoded on a computer storage medium, for analyzing a wireless power transfer system are disclosed. In one aspect, a method includes the actions of receiving data related to the energy usage of an electric vehicle. The actions further include, based on the data related to the energy usage of the electric vehicle, determining that a problem exists with the electric vehicle. The actions further include, in response to determining that that the problem exists with the electric vehicle, accessing diagnostic data of the electric vehicle. The actions further include, based on the diagnostic data of the electric vehicle and the data related to the energy usage of the electric vehicle, determining a cause of the problem with the electric vehicle. The actions further include providing, for output, data indicating the cause of the problem with the electric vehicle.

Abstract: A method of lane detection for a non-transitory computer readable storage medium storing one or more programs is disclosed. The one or more programs include instructions, which when executed by a computing device, cause the computing device to perform the following steps comprising: generating a ground truth associated with lane markings expressed in god's view; receiving features from at least one of a hit-map image and a fitted lane marking, wherein the hit-map image includes a classification of pixels that hit a lane marking, and the fitted lane marking includes pixels optimized based on the hit-map image; and training a confidence module based on the features and the ground truth, the confidence module configured to determine on-line whether a fitted lane marking is reasonable, using parameters that express a lane marking in an arc.
