Abstract:
An applicator head for discharging a pasty medium from a container, including a metering chamber, a first housing part bounding the metering chamber in sections, with an actuating element, and a second housing part. The first housing part and the second housing part form a constructional unit connectable to a container storing the medium and closing the container. By actuating the actuating element, the medium is conveyed out of the container into the metering chamber and/or is discharged from the metering chamber. A sealing element of a plastically or elastically deformable plastic is provided, and is arranged such that the container is closable in a sealing manner by the constructional unit. The sealing element is manufactured as a common component with at least one further element of the applicator head.
Abstract:
Fluid dispenser for the discharge of pharmaceutical or cosmetic fluids including a fluid reservoir in which fluid is stored prior to discharge, an outlet channel through which the fluid is dispensed to an environment, and a pump chamber which, starting from an initial state with maximum pump chamber volume, is volumetrically reduced by a manual pump activation. An inlet valve arrangement is provided between the fluid reservoir and the pump chamber, which opens in a pressure regulated manner when a negative pressure exists in the pump chamber with respect to the fluid reservoir, and an outlet valve arrangement is provided between the pump chamber and the discharge opening. The outlet valve arrangement includes a switching valve mechanically compelled to open in reaction to a displacement of an activation handle and independent of the fluid pressure in the pump chamber.
Abstract:
A fluid dispenser having an accumulator and a discharge head. The discharge head is secured to a base unit of the dispenser, which base unit includes a fluid accumulator. The discharge head has a housing displaceable relative to the base unit for actuating the dispenser. The discharge head has an inlet through which fluid travels from the fluid accumulator into the discharge head, and a discharge opening through which the fluid is delivered into the atmosphere. A swirling chamber having an inlet channel is provided between the fluid inlet and the discharge opening so that inflowing fluid is provided with a swirl which forms a spray stream when exiting the discharge opening. The swirling chamber is switched between a first and a second configuration by changing the geometry of its walls and/or the inlet channel.
Abstract:
Discharge head for a liquid dispenser including a housing, a coupling device for attachment to a liquid store, a discharge opening through which liquid is dispensed and an outlet channel extending from an inlet region, pointing in the direction of the liquid store, up to the discharge opening and via which the discharge opening is supplied with liquid. A throttle device is arranged in the outlet channel and includes a throttle channel for reducing liquid pressure and/or liquid flow through the throttle device. The throttle device is designed in the form of a dynamic throttle device, in which a free cross section of the throttle channel is reduced in size with increasing pressure prevailing at the throttle device, or with greater liquid flow flowing through the throttle device.
Abstract:
An applicator head for discharging media from a reservoir, including a housing with a coupling device for coupling to the reservoir, an inlet opening, an applicator opening for discharging medium into a surrounding atmosphere, a conveying device for conveying the medium from the inlet opening to the applicator opening and an actuating handle, movable relative to the housing to actuate the conveying device. The housing is a one-piece injection molded part formed from two plastics having different properties. The coupling device is constructed of a first of the two plastics. A ring seal surrounds the inlet opening and is arranged to bear tightly against the reservoir when coupled to the applicator head. A venting valve with an aperture which opens in a pressure-dependent manner and through which ambient air flows from the surrounding atmosphere into the reservoir, is constructed of the second of the two plastics.
Abstract:
A method for producing a containing system for a liquid dispenser having a dimensionally stable outer container and a collapsible inner container, in the form of a pouch, arranged within the outer container. The method includes starting from the outer container, at least one layer of a pouch material being applied to an inner wall of the outer container. For this purpose, the pouch material is applied in the form of a liquid or powder to the inner wall, where, after solidifying or fusing, it forms a ply of a wall, of the inner container. The ply detaches from the inner wall of the outer container when the inner container collapses.
Abstract:
A discharge head for a liquid dispenser having a coupling device fastening to an outlet connector of a liquid store, a liquid inlet, and a discharge opening. The discharge head has a pump device conveying liquid from the liquid inlet to the discharge opening, and a ventilation channel. The discharge head has an end surface by which the liquid store is substantially closed off at the distal end of the outlet connector and which is extended through by the liquid inlet. The end surface and the coupling device are formed as part of a common main component. The end surface has a ventilation aperture which is part of the ventilation channel and through which air flows into the liquid store in an inflow direction. The ventilation aperture has a minimum clear cross section of at most 3·10−2 mm2.
Abstract:
A discharge head for a dispenser including a securing element coupling the discharge head to the dispenser, a housing having an outlet opening, and a valve body. The valve body closes the outlet opening when the pressure of a medium in the discharge head is below a threshold value, and in a ready-for-use state the valve body releases the outlet opening when the pressure of the medium in the discharge head is above the threshold value. The valve body is mounted over a travel path for releasing and closing the outlet opening, and a locking handle moves in relation to the securing element in order to transfer the discharge head into a locked state in which the travel path of the valve body is reduced to zero, and/or in order to transfer the discharge head from the locked state into the ready-for-use state.

Abstract:
A discharge head for a liquid dispenser having a base and a push actuator. The discharge head has a pump device, which has a malleable pump chamber component open on both sides, fastened to the base and to the push actuator and encloses a pump chamber having a variable volume. The pump device has inlet and outlet valves. The discharge head has a ventilation opening and a ventilation valve. The ventilation valve on the base has a peripheral valve web raised via a surrounding cover wall of the base and the inside of which forms a peripheral valve surface. To ensure a reproducible behavior of the ventilation valve, a reinforcement structure is provided on the cover wall in the form of a peripheral reinforcement web, and/or the peripheral valve web is designed as part of a sleeve-like structure, which forms the peripheral valve web above the cover wall.
