Abstract: The present invention provides a shoe having a simpler structure compared to patent document JP-A 2010-162318, with reduced discomfort and enhanced repulsive force.
According to an aspect of certain embodiments of the present invention, a shoe 10 comprising: a middle sole 14 having a foot contacting surface 40 and a ground contacting surface 42; an upper at least partially covering the foot contacting surface 40 of the middle sole 14; and an elastic structure 18 curving upwards towards the rear direction at least from the outer foot side of the ground contacting surface is provided. With such configuration, discomfort can be reduced and repulsive force can be enhanced.-

Abstract: A shoe sole includes a body portion and a heel holding portion. The heel holding portion is located opposite to a ground contact surface of the body portion and holds a heel portion of a foot at least from a medial foot side. The body portion includes a low hardness portion and a high hardness portion. The high hardness portion is a foam material harder than a foam material of the low hardness portion. The heel holding portion is a resin harder than the foam material of the low hardness portion and the foam material of the high hardness portion. On the medial foot side in a rear foot portion, the low hardness portion is located between the heel holding portion and the high hardness portion in an up-down direction.

Abstract: A foot pronation estimation apparatus includes a pronation estimator that estimates a degree of pronation of a foot, with reference to comparison between a feature value of a predetermined part and a reference value. A feature value extractor extracts, from a top-view image, feature values of a plurality of parts including at least a width of foot and an amount of a recess of an arch shape. A pronation estimator estimates a degree of pronation of the foot, with reference to comparison of each of the feature values of the plurality of parts including at least the foot width and the amount of the recess of the arch shape, with an individually corresponded reference value. The feature values of the plurality of parts further include foot length and an amount of protrusion in an outline shape near a little toe ball.

Abstract: In a running analysis system, an information acquirer acquires position information and motion information of a user as a runner, measured at each point of passage in a run by a certain measurement device. A measurement value acquirer acquires measurement values of multiple types of motion analysis indices indicating a running motion state of a user for each certain unit measurement section, based on the position information and the motion information chronologically consecutive. A classification processing unit classifies measurement values in multiple measurement sections for each type of motion analysis indices, using a certain classification method for classification by property. A mode determination unit determines an output mode of a classified measurement value based on comparison with a certain comparison target. An output unit is capable of outputting at least information regarding the classified measurement value, based on the determined output mode.
