Abstract: A midsole includes an upper layer and a lower layer made of a foamed material; the upper layer is a low-hardness foamed material; the lower layer is a high-hardness foamed material; the low-hardness foamed material of the upper layer is a low-hardness, high-resilience material that has a higher specific gravity than the high-hardness foamed material, that has a low hardness that is lower than the hardness of the high-hardness foamed material, and that has a higher speed at which to recover to an original shape after being deformed than that of the high-hardness foamed material.

Abstract: A shoe includes a sole, an upper joined to the sole, and a shoe tongue provided in an internal space formed by the sole and the upper. The shoe tongue is formed of a knitted member and includes a ridge portion of inverted V shape along the front and rear directions of the shoe. The shoe tongue is formed of a single knitted member of which side ends on a medial side and a lateral side are each joined to a vicinity of a tangent between a bottom part and a side part in the internal space. In the shoe tongue, part of an area from the ridge portion to the side end on the medial side or the lateral side is formed to have higher stretchability than at least part of other adjacent areas.

Abstract: A shoe sole includes a body portion and a heel holding portion. The heel holding portion is located opposite to a ground contact surface of the body portion and holds a heel portion of a foot at least from a medial foot side. The body portion includes a low hardness portion and a high hardness portion. The high hardness portion is a foam material harder than a foam material of the low hardness portion. The heel holding portion is a resin harder than the foam material of the low hardness portion and the foam material of the high hardness portion. On the medial foot side in a rear foot portion, the low hardness portion is located between the heel holding portion and the high hardness portion in an up-down direction.
