Abstract:
A client device is operated by obtaining a list of contacts, wherein the list of contacts includes contact information of authorized users, recording media content, defining a selected recipient of the media content, and transmitting the media content and contact information of the selected recipient to a media repository system to enable the media repository system to compare an identification of a user requesting access to the media content from the media repository system with the contact information of the selected recipient and to enable a communication device of the user to access the media content from the media repository system responsive to a determination that the contact information of the selected recipient matches the identification of the user. The media content includes audio, video, and/or image content.
Abstract:
Methods, apparatus, and computer program products provide dynamic replacement communication identification (ID) service. A request is received from a user for dynamic replacement communication ID from a current location of the user. The user requesting dynamic replacement communication ID is authenticated. A user profile of the user requesting dynamic replacement communication ID is retrieved. A current profile of the current location is replaced with the user profile of the user.
Abstract:
A user is enabled to seamlessly switch between networks and/or devices, during a content delivery session. A network change detection component can determine when the user switches from one network to another. Further, a context management component is employed that stores a context state of the content delivery session on the first network when a change in network is detected. The context state is employed to seamlessly resume content delivery on the newly connected network and continue the content delivery session.

Abstract:
Methods, systems and computer program products automatically back-up data. Communication is established among a first device, a second device, and a network-based storage device. Key words associated with uniform resource locators are identified and stored in the network-based storage device. When corruption is detected of the data stored in the first device, the key words are automatically retrieved from the network-based storage device and listed in a user interface displayed at the second device.
Abstract:
Methods for responding to a potential incident are provided in which data about the potential incident is received from a first remote sensing unit. Additional remote sensing units are identified that may have additional data about the potential incident, and additional data about the potential incident is received from at least some of these additional remote sensing units. The totality of the received data is then analyzed, and at least one remote entity is automatically notified regarding the occurrence of the potential incident.
