Abstract: Aspects of the subject disclosure may include obtaining a first media content item comprising a plurality of content segments. For each content segment of the plurality of content segments of the first media content item, comparing the content segment and a prior content segment to identify a content transition, analyzing the content segment to identify a content marker in the content segment, determining a viewing characteristic of the content segment according to the content transition and the content marker, determining if the content segment is unnecessary according to the viewing characteristic, and updating a set of skipping instructions associated with the first media content item responsive to the determining the content segment is unnecessary, and presenting the first media content item at a first device according to the set of skipping instructions associated with the first media content item. Abstract: A method, computer-readable medium, and apparatus for improved forecasting for a network parameter of a communication network are disclosed. For example, a processing system including at least one processor may provide improved forecasting for a network parameter of a communication network based on determining an initial forecast for the network parameter, determining a forecast correction for the network parameter based on use of planning data associated with the network parameter of the communication network (e.g., one or more planning data factors known or expected to influence the network parameter), and determining an updated forecast for the network parameter based on modification of the initial forecast for the network parameter based on the forecast correction for the network parameter. For example, the processing system also may use the updated forecast for the network parameter to initiate one or more management actions for the communication network.

Abstract: Crowd sourced data from mobile devices may be used to estimate site locations. In addition, machine learning models may be used to filter out any inaccurate crowd sourced data before using algorithms to estimate the cell site location. An apparatus may include a processor and a memory coupled with the processor that effectuates operations. The operations may include receiving data associated with a location of plurality of devices that have connected with a base station in a geographic area; determining a machine learning model to apply to the received data based on the type of data, wherein the machine learning model is a clustering model; performing the clustering model on the received data; based on the performing the clustering model on the received data, obtaining representative data that excludes outliers in the received data; based on the representative data, determining a location of the base station in the geographic area; and sending a message with the location of the base station.
