    摘要: An antenna assembly can be configured for RF communications. The antenna assembly can include a ground plane disposed on a substrate. The antenna assembly can include a patch antenna structure spaced apart from the ground plane. The antenna assembly can include one or more grounded posts coupled to and extending from the substrate. The one or more grounded posts can be arranged along at least a portion of a periphery of the patch antenna structure. The patch antenna structure can emit a radiation pattern based at least in part on a transmit signal. The radiation pattern can induce a resultant field in the one or more grounded posts to adjust a characteristic of the radiation pattern.

    摘要: A cellular repeater system is provided. The cellular repeater system includes an outdoor antenna communicatively coupled to a repeater. The outdoor antenna is configured to relay communications from the repeater to a cellular base station. The outdoor antenna includes a plurality of log-periodic antennas rotated relative to one another such that each of the plurality of log-periodic antennas is pointed in a different direction. The cellular repeater system includes a switching device configured to selectively couple one or more of the plurality of log-periodic antennas to a RF transceiver of the repeater in order to configure the outdoor antenna in a plurality of antenna modes. Each of the plurality of antenna modes have a distinct radiation pattern.

    摘要: A wideband phased array antenna is provided. The wideband phased array antenna includes a plurality of antenna cells. Each of the antenna cells is configured to communicate over a frequency band ranging from 24 GHz to 52 GHz. Furthermore, one or more of the antenna cells includes a driven element and a parasitic element. The driven element is disposed on a first substrate that includes a first dielectric material. The parasitic element is disposed on a second substrate positioned relative to the first substrate such that a gap is defined between the first substrate and the second substrate. The second substrate includes a second dielectric material that is different than the first dielectric material.
