摘要: An antenna comprising the primary and secondary radiation structures and impedance-matching circuit are disposed in a collinear configuration with single port. The impedance-matching circuit can expand the antenna bandwidth in plural frequency bands with low VSWR. The transmission line between the RF connector and radiation structures are frictional wrapped by ferrite toroid cores, which improves the antenna in term of electrical stability. This also decreases the antenna sensitivity to the ground plane.

摘要: The present invention relates to a board assembly used for a base station antenna and a base station antenna including such a board assembly. The board assembly includes a first circuit board (3) and a second circuit board (4), and the first circuit board and the second circuit board are spaced apart from each other. The first circuit board has a plurality of first electrical connectors, the second circuit board has a plurality of second electrical connectors, and the first electrical connectors and the second electrical connectors are electrically connected by a plurality of coaxial cable assemblies (5). Each coaxial cable assembly extends between the first circuit board and the second circuit board, and includes a coaxial cable, a first corresponding electrical connector matching the first electrical connector on a first end of the coaxial cable, and a second corresponding electrical connector matching the second electrical connector on a second end opposite to the first end on the coaxial cable. The board assembly can have stable electrical performance, especially radio frequency signal transmission performance.

A connection end of the parasitic radiation element is coupled to the ground plane. The parasitic radiation element and the feeding radiation element are disposed on the dielectric substrate. An antenna structure is formed by the parasitic radiation element, the feeding radiation element, and the slot of the metal mechanism element.

摘要: The present invention provides a balanced dipole unit and a broadband omnidirectional collinear array antenna formed by the balanced dipole unit. Balanced dipole unit circuits in the balanced dipole unit are symmetrically distributed on two sides of a circuit carrier, and a feeder and a ground wire in the balanced dipole unit are also symmetrically distributed, so that the balanced dipole unit has a completely symmetrical structure. A principle of the symmetrical structure is the same as a differential design principle and a self-balancing principle in the circuit design, thereby reducing current coupling between the balanced dipole units and eliminating the need of using an additional choke circuit when a broadband omnidirectional collinear array antenna is formed by the balanced dipole unit.

摘要: Disclosed are improved antenna structures, systems, and methods of manufacturing. In an embodiment, low-cost internal 2G/5G antennas have flat metal dipole construction, which can include a stiffener. External embodiments include quad dipole antenna structures, with broadside or corner arrays. Isolated multi-band center or end-fed dipole antennas can include single-sided PCB or metal-only structures, for operation with at least two distinct frequencies, and can provide RF isolation, such as with an RF trap or a Balun system. Embodiments of non-DC path or pass-through dual band antennas feature trap structures, along with discrete or distributed matching, and can provide a DC feed path for LEDs. Low profile and flat vertically polarized omni-directional antennas, such as for operation at 915 MHz, include an open slot driven cavity. Stacked 2G/5G antenna structures provide axial symmetry between quadrants. Improved construction methods and antenna structures include enhanced thin metal components and low cost, crimp-only construction methods.

摘要: One or more embodiments are directed to a multimode antenna structure for transmitting and receiving electromagnetic signals in a communications device. The communications device includes circuitry for processing signals communicated to and from the antenna structure. The antenna structure is configured for optimal operation in a given frequency range. The antenna structure includes a plurality of antenna ports operatively coupled to the circuitry, and a plurality of antenna elements, each operatively coupled to a different one of the antenna ports. Each of the plurality of antenna elements is configured to have an electrical length selected to provide optimal operation within the given frequency range. The antenna structure also includes one or more connecting elements electrically connecting the antenna elements such that electrical currents on one antenna element flow to a connected neighboring antenna element and generally bypass the antenna port coupled to the neighboring antenna element. The electrical currents flowing through the one antenna element and the neighboring antenna element are generally equal in magnitude, such that an antenna mode excited by one antenna port is generally electrically isolated from a mode excited by another antenna port at a given desired signal frequency range without the use of a decoupling network connected to the antenna ports, and the antenna structure generates diverse antenna patterns.
