Abstract: A mounting assembly for mounting a light fixture comprises a plurality of anchor structures attachable to a ceiling at designated locations thereon to form an anchor array to be patterned so as to be complementary with a target location array of a plurality of target locations on the light fixture. A plurality of elongate flexible structures is provided according to the anchor array, each configured to extend from a corresponding anchor structure so as to be orientable to align with a corresponding target location in the target location array when the target location array is unaligned with the anchor array. A plurality of retainers is provided according to the anchor array, each configured to be positionable at a distal location on the corresponding elongate flexible structure, thereby to suspend the light fixture below the ceiling. Each retainer being displaceable along the corresponding elongate flexible structure to collectively displace the light fixture toward engagement with the ceiling, wherein the retainer is positionable at a designated location on the elongate flexible structure, wherein an installed position of the light fixture is defined by a cumulative effect of a relative positioning of each anchor location and each corresponding target location.

Abstract: A device for mounting a light fixture structure to a ceiling grid. The device includes an anchor structure extending from the light fixture structure, with a pair of arm structures spaced to receive a ceiling grid segment therebetween at an anchor location on the ceiling grid adjacent a lower region of the ceiling grid. The arm structures have respective distal regions configured to be accessible from an upper region of the ceiling grid and a clamp structure configured to traverse laterally relative to the distal regions to couple with the respective distal end regions and thereafter to be transferable between a released position and a locked position. When in the locked position, the ceiling grid segment held between the anchor and clamp structures place the light fixture structure in the mounted position.

The housing segment includes a first power supply segment to be coupled with a designated line voltage outlet to deliver line voltage power to the at least one lighting module in the at least one lighting zone. Each track lighting module includes a lighting subzone, with a second passage to receive one or more lighting submodules along a second length dimension. A second power supply segment is provided to couple with the first power supply segment to receive line power and to deliver low voltage to the one or more lighting submodules.

Abstract: A linear light fixture assembly comprises a linear housing structure with a linear mounting region, the linear mounting region including an exposed passage having a first lateral dimension and configured to be secured to a ceiling mounting structure on a ceiling, the ceiling mounting structure having a second lateral dimension, and a linear conduit structure having opposed surfaces which are spaced by a third lateral dimension, wherein the linear housing structure and/or the linear conduit structure are configured so that the first, second/or and third lateral dimensions enable the linear conduit structure to extend past the ceiling mounting structure into the exposed passage to deliver power to one or more light sources to be located in the housing.
