Abstract: Disclosed is a luminaire including a ceiling mountable housing that defines an inner cartridge-receiving cavity accessible at an opening that is accessible in a healthcare space. A cartridge is provided to be received in the housing. The housing and the cartridge are configured to establish a first NSF-compliant sealing interface formed by at least one first barrier member extending along a first peripheral region between the housing and the cartridge to establish a first NSF-compliant pathogen barrier. The cartridge includes a light output region that is configured to locate an interior light guide and an exterior lens with an optical spacing therebetween. A second NSF-compliant sealing barrier interface is provided between the lens and the light guide formed by at least one second barrier member extending along a second peripheral region between the lens and light guide, and which is configured to establish a second NSF-compliant pathogen barrier therein.

Abstract: A luminaire assembly comprises a first luminaire structure and a second luminaire structure, each configured for positioning in an illuminatable position on an enclosure surface. Each of the first and second luminaire structures comprises a housing structure and an illumination structure extending outwardly from the housing structure. The illumination structure has at least one outer surface region which terminates at a longitudinal distal end region and at least one lateral edge region, wherein the respective lateral edge regions of the first and second luminaire structures are alignable to form an aligning interface therebetween. A clamp assembly is configured for clamping the adjacent lateral end regions in the aligning interface to join the first and second luminaire structures together, the clamp assembly providing at least one outer clamp surface region which is configured to be complementary with the corresponding at least one outer surface region of each of the joined first and second luminaire structures.

Abstract: Disclosed is a coupling assembly for joining together a pair of light fixture segments at a joint interface therebetween to form a light fixture assembly, comprising a body rotatably mountable on a first of the light fixture segments about a central axis, the body configured to operably engage a drive tool with a drive axis thereof aligned with the central axis to rotate the body between a release position and a coupling position, the body having a designated receiving location to receive a complementary coupling element on a second of the light fixture segments, and configured to provide an arcuate pathway extending from designated receiving location, wherein the designated receiving location and pathway are configured to permit the complementary coupling element to travel along the pathway as the body rotates on the central axis, and thereby to laterally transfer the complementary coupling element radially toward the central axis to draw the first and second light fixture segment toward forming the joint interface when the body reaches the coupling position corresponding to the complementary coupling element reaching a corresponding position along the pathway.

Abstract: Disclosed is a grid lighting system having at least one housing segment with at least one lighting zone. At least one lighting module is selected from at least one track lighting module and/or at least one non-track lighting module. The at least one lighting zone extends along a first length dimension of the housing segment and including at least one first passage to receive the at least one track lighting module and/or non-track lighting module. The housing segment includes a first power supply segment to be coupled with a designated line voltage outlet to deliver line voltage power to the at least one lighting module in the at least one lighting zone. Each track lighting module includes a lighting subzone, with a second passage to receive one or more lighting submodules along a second length dimension. A second power supply segment is provided to couple with the first power supply segment to receive line power and to deliver low voltage to the one or more lighting submodules.
