摘要： In a lens mounting mechanism, by rotating a ring member through touching lugs of the ring member and aligning grooves of a base member and recesses of the ring member in the circumferential direction, and then inserting a lens barrel into a hole portion, the lens barrel is moved to the hole portion without being interfered by projections of a barrel mounting member, so that the lens barrel can be inserted into the hole portion until a flange portion abuts against an opening end surface. Then, by touching the lugs of the ring member and rotating the ring member to displace the recesses from the grooves of the base member in the circumference direction, the projection of the barrel mounting member is locked by the ring member and the barrel mounting member is fixed to the base member, so that the lens barrel can be mounted to the apparatus body.

The present invention provides a lens moving mechanism for moving a lens retaining member 20, which retains a lens barrel 15 provided therein with a projection lens for projecting light with image information, in the directions of Z axis and X axis. The lens moving mechanism comprises first and second guiding mechanisms 23, 23, 24, 24 including a track member, a movable member, and a plurality of rolling members arranged between a rolling member running surface of the track member and a rolling member running surface of the movable member, whereby the lens barrel 15 is guided by the first and the second guiding mechanisms 23, 23, 24, 24 in the directions of Z axis and X axis.

When a user operates a remote and selects an icon representing the type of desired video signal, a video image derived from the video signal of the desired type supplied to the input terminal that corresponds to the selected icon is displayed on the display unit. In such a situation, arrangement of icons on the display unit can be changed by a user instruction given by an operation of the remote.
