摘要： A method for assembling an ink supply section having a supply valve for allowing an ink supplying opening and an ink containing chamber to communicate with each other by allowing the ink containing chamber, the ink supplying opening and an ink supply needle to be in contact with each other, a seal member for closing the ink supplying opening and the ink containing chamber by allowing the supplying valve to be in contact, and an urging member for urging the supply valve to the seal member, wherein the method includes the steps of inserting the urging member into the ink supply section from the ink supplying opening, mounting the seal member onto the ink supplying opening and allowing the supply valve to be in contact with the seal member by the urging force of the urging member by inserting the supply valve from the insertion opening of the seal member mounted on the supplying opening in the step of mounting.

摘要： An ink cartridge is provided with an ink accommodating section for containing ink, an ink supplying part for supplying ink contained in the ink accommodating section to an inkjet type recording apparatus by inserting an ink supplying needle provided at a lower part of the inkjet type recording apparatus, and an atmospheric valve, which seals a communicating hole in order that the ink accommodating section and the atmosphere communicate, while opening a communicating hole, which allows the ink accommodating section to communicates with the atmosphere, by moving perpendicular to a direction in which the ink cartridge is inserted into the inkjet type recording apparatus by being pushed up by a contact member.

摘要： A liquid cartridge is provided that supplies liquid to a liquid ejecting apparatus by being mounted in the liquid ejecting apparatus. The liquid cartridge includes a cartridge body having a side face in which an opening is formed; and a flexible film for forming an ink accommodating chamber that is a closed space for accommodating the liquid, with the cartridge body by covering the opening of the cartridge body. The flexible film is caused to deform toward the ink accommodating chamber by atmospheric pressure that acts on the flexible film when the liquid cartridge is got out from a vacuum bag in which the liquid cartridge is packaged, thereby increasing the pressure in the ink accommodating chamber.

摘要： A method of injecting a liquid into a liquid container detachably mounted on a liquid consuming device, the liquid container including: a liquid containing chamber in which the liquid can be contained; a liquid supply hole connectable to the liquid consuming device; a liquid guide passage for guiding the liquid contained in the liquid containing chamber to the liquid supply hole; an air communicating passage communicating the liquid containing chamber with an air; and a liquid residual quantity sensor provided in the liquid guide passage and for outputting different signals between in a case where the liquid guide passage is filled with the liquid and in a case where the liquid guide passage includes air entered thereinto, wherein the liquid containing chamber including at least three liquid containing chambers, and wherein the liquid containing chambers are mutually connected so as to have a descending connection where a pair of the liquid containing chambers are mutually connected so that a liquid flow in the liquid guide passage is a descending flow from above to below and an ascending connection where a pair of the liquid containing chambers are mutually connected so that the liquid flow in the liquid guide passage is an ascending flow from below to above, the method includes: forming an injection port, which communicates with the liquid containing chamber, in the air communicating passage; injecting a predetermined amount of liquid through the injection port; and sealing the injection port after injecting the liquid.

摘要： A method of injecting a liquid into a liquid container detachably mounted on a liquid consuming device, the liquid container comprising: a liquid containing chamber containing the liquid; a liquid supply port connectable to the liquid consuming device; a liquid guide path for guiding the liquid contained in the liquid containing chamber to the liquid supply port; an air communicating path communicating the liquid containing chamber with air and having a communicating passage portion that is narrower than at least a part of other communicating paths in the air communicating path and can store some liquid contained in the liquid containing chamber by a meniscus; and a liquid residual quantity sensor provided in the liquid guide path for outputting different signals in accordance with a residual amount of the liquid in the liquid containing portion, wherein the liquid contained in the liquid containing chamber can be blocked from the air by the liquid stored in the communicating passage portion, the method comprising: forming an injection port on a more upstream side than an upstream end of the communicating passage portion; injecting a predetermined amount of liquid from the injection port; and sealing the injection port after injecting the liquid.
