摘要： A toggle-link type hand tool is provided that includes pivotally interconnected elements having workpiece engaging members and a pair of handles each operatively connected to a respective one of the pivotally interconnected elements, and a toggle-link operatively connected between the handles. Additionally, each of the workpiece engaging members includes a self-adjusting jaw pivotally connected thereto and each jaw is configured to have an angle-shape for engagement with two adjacent sides of a hexagonal fastener. Additionally, the pivotable connection of at least one of the self-adjusting jaws to a respective workpiece engaging member may be provided by a slot formed in one of the jaw and the member and a pin fixed to the other of the jaw and the member to provide greater adjustability of the jaws. Furthermore, the workpiece engaging members may be configured to have a cutting surface, configured as straight blades or as curved cutting surfaces. Actuating mechanism may be provided that includes a gear segment formed on each of the workpiece engaging members, with the gear segments meshing together so that movement of the one workpiece engaging member by operation of the handle transmits movement to the other workpiece engaging member for actuation thereof.

摘要： An inertial exercise device includes an internal hollow casing containing one or more spherical shaped weights for rolling and/or sliding movement within the hollow casing. The weights have an initial force imparted to them by a user of the exercise device. Once set in motion, the mass of the weights provide an inertia to the exercise by requiring the user to maintain the movement or work against the movement of the weights. Different types of motion can be imparted to the weights so as to provide exercise of varying difficulty and to provide exercise to different muscle groups.

摘要： A centrifugal suction pump includes a vertically disposed support tube having upper and lower ends, a liquid check valve on the lower end of the support tube, and a hollow rotatable hub mounted on the upper end of the support tube. A number of horizontally expeller tubes are connected to the hub and extend radially therefrom. A check valve is associated with the hub for venting the hub to ambient atmosphere and a priming conduit is connected to the support tube for filing the latter and the expeller tubes with liquid. A stopper is associated with each expeller tube and has an operative position that seals the expeller tube. Rotation of the expeller tubes causes radial displacement of liquid therein which effects movement of the stoppers to an inoperative position at which the tubes are unsealed and liquid is pumped up the support tube.

摘要： A method of exercising and various exercise devices. The exercise device includes a substantially circular hoop, the hoop comprising a hollow chamber for allowing a member to move within the chamber. One of at least one handle or at least one mechanism is attached to the hoop for supporting the hoop at a location on a user's body. At least one member is disposed in the hollow chamber, wherein the hoop is postionable around a portion of the user's body. The exercise device can also include at least one substantially circular casing comprising a hollow chamber for allowing a member to move within the chamber and a centrally disposed through opening. A handle rod at least partially disposed within the opening, and at least one member is moveably disposed in the hollow chamber. The casing is removably fixed to the handle rod so that movement of the handle rod causes movement of the at least one member within the casing. The exercising method includes positioning a hoop device about a portion of a user's body, securing the hoop device on the user using at least one securing mechanism which fixes the hoop device with respect to the portion of the user's body, moving the hoop device with corresponding movement of the user's body so as to cause a weight disposed in a hollow chamber of the hoop device to move about.
