摘要： A machine (1) has a rotor (3) located so that it can rotate in a housing (2). The rotor is located at least partly in fluid, such as coolant. To provide a machine which has lower losses with a higher cooling capacity, the housing pressure can be reduced so that the fluid transitions into the two-phase range. In one embodiment, the housing pressure can be reduced by a suction device (7).
