Abstract: In some implementations, a controller may obtain a setting for a maximum discharge pressure associated with a fluid pump that is to be allowed during a hydraulic fracturing operation. The fluid pump may be driven by a motor that is controlled by a variable frequency drive (VFD). The controller may determine a maximum torque for the motor that achieves the maximum discharge pressure. The controller may cause, via the VFD, adjustment to a speed of the motor to maintain a torque of the motor at or below the maximum torque for the motor.

The system further includes a variable frequency drive (VFD), arranged in a second area proximate the first area, connected to the at least one electric motor to control the speed of the at least one electric motor. The system includes a transformer, arranged in a third area proximate the second area. The system also includes a slide out platform integrated into the first area, the slide out platform being driven between a retracted position and a deployed position.

Abstract: This disclosure includes subsea pumping apparatuses and related methods. Some apparatuses include one or more subsea pumps, each having an inlet and an outlet, and one or more motors, each configured to actuate at least one pump to communicate a hydraulic fluid from the inlet to the outlet, where the subsea pumping apparatus is configured to be in fluid communication with a hydraulically actuated device of a blowout preventer. Some subsea pumping apparatuses include one or more of: a desalination system configured to produce at least a portion of the hydraulic fluid; one or more valves, each configured to selectively route hydraulic fluid from an outlet of a pump to, for example, a subsea environment, a reservoir, and/or the inlet of the pump; and a reservoir configured to store at least a portion of the hydraulic fluid. Some apparatuses are configured to be directly coupled to the hydraulically actuated device.

Abstract: A battery powered fluid sprayer includes a shelter that the battery is mounted in to provide power to the electric components of the sprayer. The shelter protects the battery from falling fluid droplets. The shelter extends above the battery and projects outward laterally and longitudinally to protect the battery. The battery can move vertically downward to dismount from the fluid sprayer.

Abstract: An electric driven hydraulic fracking system is disclosed. A pump configuration that includes the single VFD, the single shaft electric motor, and the single hydraulic pump that is mounted on the single pump trailer. A power distribution trailer distributes the electric power generated by the power generation system at the power generation voltage level to the single VFD and converts the electric power at a power generation voltage level to a VFD voltage level and controls the operation of the single shaft electric motor and the single hydraulic pump. The power distribution trailer converts the electric power generated by the power generation system at the power generation level to an auxiliary voltage level that is less than the power generation voltage level. The power distribution trailer distributes the electric power at the auxiliary voltage level to the single VFD that controls an operation of the of the auxiliary systems.

The motor controller includes an input device and a memory configured to store a plurality of actuation sequences and a plurality of commands. Each actuation sequence is associated with a command. The motor controller further includes a processor coupled to the input device, the memory, and the pump motor. The processor is configured to detect at the input device, a first actuation sequence in response to the input device being actuated. The processor is further configured to perform a lookup in the memory to determine a first command corresponding to the first actuation sequence. The processor is further configured to operate the pump motor according to the first command.

Abstract: An electronic angle adjustment mechanism for a pump and a motor generally includes a base and a linear actuator. The base has an upper portion mounted to a motor, a lower portion mounted to a pump, and a hinge for pivotably moving the upper base portion in relation to the lower base portion. The linear actuator is mounted to on an attachment plate that also attaches the motor to the upper base portion. The linear actuator can drive a flexible member or connect to a gear wheel or worm screw to pivot about the hinge and change an angle between the upper and lower base portions.
