    摘要: An ignition coil for an internal combustion engine has a secondary coil shell and a primary coil shell, which are positioned concentrically about a core and produced from plastic by injection molding methods. To avoid damage to the wire, at least the secondary coil shell is configured in such a way that it has no mold offset and no burrs in its winding region for the wire, which is achieved by providing separation planes extending transversely to the longitudinal axis.

    摘要: An ignition coil for an internal combustion engine has a core, about which a secondary coil shell and a primary coil shell are concentrically positioned. The spaces between the core, the secondary coil shell, and the primary coil shell are filled in by an encapsulating material. The core is made up of lamellar, magnetic steel sheets. To compensate for stresses resulting from the different thermal expansion coefficients of the components, an elastic layer is situated between at least two of the magnetic steel sheets of the core.

    摘要: An ignition coil for an internal combustion engine has a rod-shaped magnetic core, which is situated within a secondary coil shell. The annular interspace between the magnetic core and the secondary coil shell is filled with an electrically insulating molded material. To prevent the formation of tears in the molded material during thermo-mechanical loading, or the spread of such tears such that the operativeness of the ignition coil is adversely affected, a separation element is provided, which divides the molded material into at least two mutually separate regions.
