    摘要： A method for creating a unique and secure mobile internet protocol version 4 connection for a packet data network is provided. The method includes generating an extended master session key to create a mobile internet protocol root key. The method also includes creating a mobile internet protocol security parameter index based on the mobile internet protocol root key and an access point name. The method further includes deriving a mobile node home agent key based on the access point name. Furthermore the method includes associating the derived mobile node home agent key to the created security parameter index. Moreover the method includes providing the unique and secure mobile internet protocol version 4 connection to transfer data for the packet data network connectivity.

The method further includes receiving a device trigger register including wait time information transmitted from an application server, and then setting the received wait time in the packet filter, and buffering during the wait time upon reception of the downlink data packet from the application server, and then determining a downlink data notification transmission upon expiration of the wait time.

    摘要： An active handoff system and method of a dual mode terminal capable of connecting to a wireless network, such as wireless local area network (LAN), and a mobile communication system are provided. The handoff method includes the steps of assigning, at a packet data service node of the mobile communication system, an IP address to the dual mode terminal connected to the service network, establishing, at the packet data service node, a tunneling path to the wireless LAN when the dual mode terminal moves from the mobile communication network to the wireless LAN, and disconnecting, at the packet data service node, the tunneling path to the wireless LAN, and establishing a tunneling path to another packet data service node whose Internet Protocol (IP) address has been established by the packet data service node, when the dual mode terminal moves from the wireless LAN to the mobile communication system. A dual mode terminal that moves from a 3G mobile communication system to a wireless network in an active state maintains an existing IP address assigned from an active 3G mobile communication system so that the dual mode terminal can maintain an upper layer session and transmit an IP packet to a terminal located in a 3G mobile communication system.

    摘要： A local Packet Data Network (PDN) access method of a User Equipment (UE) in a wireless communication system is provided. The local Packet Data Network (PDN) access method in a wireless communication system according to the present invention includes transmitting a local PDN connectivity request message from a base station to a Mobility Management Entity (MME); transmitting a bearer request message from the MME received the PDN connectivity request message to a Serving Gateway (SGW) proxy of the base station; forwarding the bearer request message from the SGW proxy to a PDN Gateway (PGW) proxy of the base station; transmitting a bearer response message indicating a local PDN access service of the base station in gateway mode from the PGW proxy to the SGW proxy; forwarding the bearer response message from the SGW to the MME; transmitting a bearer setup message from the MME received the bearer response message to the base station; and connecting a mobile terminal to the local PDN based on information contained in the bearer setup message.
