    Abstract: A current sensor includes units each of which has a bus bar through which current flows, a magnetic sensor facing one of plate surfaces of the bus bar, a shield facing the other plate surface. The units have a large-current unit and a small-current unit. A first distance between the bus bar and the magnetic sensor in a normal direction of the plate surfaces of the bus bar is the same as a distance L1A of the large-current unit and a distance L1B of the small-current unit. Since, as for a second distance between the bus bar and a base of the shield, a distance L2A of the large-current unit is larger than a distance L2B of the small-current unit, a measurement range of the large-current unit is widened and a measurement error due to magnetic saturation of the shield is suppressed.

    Abstract: A current detection device includes a plurality of current detection units arranged in the current detection device. Each of the current detection units includes a bus bar that enables a current to be measured to flow therethrough, a magnetic sensor disposed at a position facing the bus bar, and a pair of shields disposed so as to sandwich the bus bar and the magnetic sensor in a facing direction in which the bus bar and the magnetic sensor face each other. The bus bars of the plurality of current detection units extend so as to be aligned to one another and, as viewed in the facing direction, the positions of the shield and the magnetic sensor of each of the current detection units in an extension direction of the bus bars differ from the positions of the shield and the magnetic sensor of the adjacent current detection unit.

    Abstract: A current sensor has a bus bar through which a current under measurement flows, a magnetism sensing portion placed so as to face the bus bar in an X direction, and a chassis that incorporates the magnetism sensing portion and part of the bus bar. In a Y direction orthogonal to the X direction, the bus bar has a first connection end protruding from a Y1 side of the chassis and a second connection end protruding from a Y2 side of the chassis.     Abstract: A current sensor includes busbars through which a current to be measured flows, magnetic detectors capable of detecting a magnetic field generated when the current to be measured flows through the busbars, a storage space storing the magnetic detectors, and a housing with which part of the busbars is integrated. Ends of the busbars are connected to an external first unit including a cooling device, and other ends of the busbars are connected to an external second unit whose temperature becomes higher than that of the first unit when the current to be measured flows. In the current sensor, which is capable of measuring a current value of the current to be measured from a result of the detection performed by the magnetic detectors, the housing has first vents penetrating from the inside of the storage space to the outside on a side facing the first unit.

    Abstract: A current sensor has: a magnetism detection unit that can detect a component, in a first direction, of a magnetic field generated when a current flows in a current path; a shield member that can block an external magnetic field; a circuit board on which the magnetism detection unit is mounted; and a fixing member, composed of a magnetic material, that fixes the shield member to the circuit board. The first direction is parallel to the front surface of the circuit board. The shield member has two opposing plates placed so that their plate surfaces face each other in the first direction. The magnetism detection unit is placed by being interposed between the two opposing plates in the first direction.     Abstract: A current sensor according to the present invention includes a bus bar through which a measuring current flows; a nut with which the bus bar and an external terminal are brought into contact with and fastened to each other; a magnetic sensor capable of detecting a magnetic field generated when a current flows through the bus bar; a case member having a housing area in which the magnetic sensor is allowed to be housed, the case member sealing the bus bar and the nut inside; and a cover member provided over the housing area. The case member has an open part in which a portion of the nut is exposed. The open part is covered by an insulative protective member. Therefore, shavings generated when a bolt for fastening an external terminal is screwed into the nut are prevented from dropping to the outside of the current sensor.
