Abstract: A current sensor capable of efficiently cooling a busbar by using a cooling device includes a busbar, a shield disposed to face the busbar, a magnetic sensor disposed between the shield and the busbar, and an enclosure that integrally encases part of the busbar, the shield, and the magnetic sensor. When a side on which the busbar is disposed in the X-axis direction in which the busbar, the magnetic sensor, and the shield are arranged is defined as an X1 side, the busbar is disposed on the X1 side from the center line of the enclosure, and at least the X1 side of the enclosure is disposed to face the cooling device.

Abstract: A wheel portion allows a shaft body that serves as a detection object to be inserted therein in a direction of a rotational axis from a position in front of the wheel portion, and is rotated about the rotational axis when the shaft body is rotated. The wheel portion includes a tubular portion in which the shaft body is inserted and a projecting edge portion extending away from the rotational axis at a front end of the tubular portion. The housing portion includes a cover portion having a hollow tubular opening portion in which the shaft body is inserted. The cover portion and the wheel portion are engaged with each other such that the opening portion is located on an inner side of the projecting edge portion.

Abstract: A current sensor includes busbars through which a current to be measured flows, magnetic detectors capable of detecting a magnetic field generated when the current to be measured flows through the busbars, a storage space storing the magnetic detectors, and a housing with which part of the busbars is integrated. Ends of the busbars are connected to an external first unit including a cooling device, and other ends of the busbars are connected to an external second unit whose temperature becomes higher than that of the first unit when the current to be measured flows. In the current sensor, which is capable of measuring a current value of the current to be measured from a result of the detection performed by the magnetic detectors, the housing has first vents penetrating from the inside of the storage space to the outside on a side facing the first unit.

Abstract: A current sensor according to the present invention includes a bus bar through which a measuring current flows; a nut with which the bus bar and an external terminal are brought into contact with and fastened to each other; a magnetic sensor capable of detecting a magnetic field generated when a current flows through the bus bar; a case member having a housing area in which the magnetic sensor is allowed to be housed, the case member sealing the bus bar and the nut inside; and a cover member provided over the housing area. The case member has an open part in which a portion of the nut is exposed. The open part is covered by an insulative protective member. Therefore, shavings generated when a bolt for fastening an external terminal is screwed into the nut are prevented from dropping to the outside of the current sensor.

Abstract: A current sensor which suppresses deterioration of detection accuracy caused by high temperature of electronic components due to heat of a bus bar and is suitable for measurement of large current includes a bus bar through which a current to be measured flows, a magnetic detector detecting a magnetic field generated by the bus bar, and a case integrally formed with the bus bar and having a storage space storing the magnetic detector. The magnetic detector is spaced away from and faces the bus bar. The bus bar is on a first surface of the storage space defining the storage space and facing the magnetic detector. A low thermal conductivity material having a lower thermal conductivity than a resin-based material forming the case is provided between the bus bar and the magnetic detector to contact an opposing surface, on the bus bar, facing the magnetic detector.

Abstract: A current sensor includes a busbar extending in a direction, a magnetic sensor facing the busbar in a direction intersecting the direction in which the busbar extends, a magnetic shield having a base that faces the busbar, at least a portion of the base facing a side of the busbar opposite to a side where the magnetic sensor is disposed, and a case having an insert-molded section in which at least a part of the magnetic shield is insert-molded. The insert-molded section has holes (first holes), and in the holes (first holes), some portions of the magnetic shield are exposed as exposure portions (first exposure portions) and the exposure portions (first exposure portions) have rust-prevention properties. Such a current sensor has the rustproofed exposure portions and thus problems caused by rusting in the exposure portions in the magnetic shield can be prevented or reduced.
