    Abstract: A boundary position, which determines the range of the positions of the window within which trap prevention control is disabled, is set according to the sum of a first amount of rotation and a second amount of rotation. The first amount of rotation approximates a change, in a reference amount of rotation, that corresponds to a change in a detected voltage from a reference voltage. The second amount of rotation is set to a value that is smaller than the difference between a specific amount of rotation at a stop and the reference amount of rotation and is larger than the amount of variations in the reference amount of rotation.

    Abstract: An open/close control device which detects pinching by an open/close body due to driving of a motor, includes a computing unit configured to compute an acceleration term based on a change in a rotational period of the motor, and a load applied to the motor based on the acceleration term, based on a signal indicating the rotation period of the motor, a determination unit configured to determine that the pinching by the open/close body occurred, when the load computed by the computing unit exceeds a predetermined determination value, and a determination value adjusting unit configured to increase the determination value when a local maximum value of the acceleration term exceeds a predetermined threshold value, or the acceleration term becomes less than or equal to a predetermined reference value, or the acceleration term decrease by a predetermined value or more, during a certain period after starting the motor.

    Abstract: A contact determination device includes a sensor measuring a contact degree of a body to be detected with an object, a contact determination unit determining whether the body to be detected is in contact with the object, based on a reference value, and a correction unit correcting the reference value, in which a cumulative value is obtained by accumulating a fluctuation amount of the detection value from a contact start time of the body to be detected with the object during a period in which the body to be detected is in contact with the object, and when the detection value increases as the contact degree increases, the correction unit corrects the reference value, based on a maximum value of the cumulative value, or when the detection value decreases as the contact degree increases, the correction unit corrects the reference value, based on a minimum value of the cumulative value.

    Abstract: An electrostatic input apparatus is provided. A measuring unit measures capacitance at a plurality of coordinates of an electrostatic coordinate input unit. A converting unit obtains a reference value of the capacitance and converts the capacitance to difference values according to a distance between the electrostatic coordinate input unit at the coordinates and a finger. A first coordinate calculating unit calculates barycentric coordinates of a contact portion from the difference values for the plurality of coordinates. A cycle determining unit determines whether the difference values at coordinates on a circumference of a circle with a predetermined radius centered on the barycentric coordinates exhibit periodicity of two cycles in one round along the circle. An operation determining unit performs, when the cycle determining unit determines that the difference values exhibit periodicity of two cycles, a determination that an input operation using two or more fingers has been performed.

    Abstract: A touch detecting apparatus includes an electrostatic sensor provided on an object; and a processor configured to detect whether a hand touches the object based on a capacitance measured by the electrostatic sensor. The processor is configured to, in response to the capacitance being greater than or equal to a first touch threshold, detect that the hand touches the object, and, for a second predetermined time from when a change amount of the capacitance during a first predetermined time becomes greater than or equal to a noise threshold, continue a state where a correction value has been added to the first touch threshold.
