    Abstract: The non-nicotine e-vaping section includes a heater in heating proximity to a wick, the heater and the wick being connected to a first surface of a first wall that partially defines a chamber, and a reservoir configured to contain a non-nicotine pre-vapor formulation, the non-nicotine pre-vapor formulation being devoid of nicotine and including a non-nicotine compound, the first wall at least partially defining at least one first channel that traverses through the first surface, the at least one first channel being configured to communicate the non-nicotine pre-vapor formulation from the reservoir to the wick, the first wall defining an entrenched section that at least partially contains the wick, the first wall at least partially defining one or more air passages that traverse through the first surface, the one or more air passages having a first length that is longer than a second length of the at least one first channel.

    Abstract: A topography apparatus may be coupled to an e-vaping device, within an interior defined by a housing of the e-vaping device, such that the topography apparatus may be coupled to an e-vaping device that may generate vapor independently of the topography apparatus. The topography apparatus may generate and communicate vapor topography data associated with vapor generation by the e-vaping device without altering an external appearance or vapor-generation performance of the e-vaping device. The topography apparatus may be detachably coupled to the interior of the e-vaping device. The topography apparatus includes an interface assembly configured to couple with a power supply, control circuitry, and/or sensor of the e-vaping device. Such coupling may include coupling with internal power or communication conduits of the e-vaping device, such that the topography apparatus taps into power and/or communication lines of the e-vaping device without requiring modification of the circuitry of the e-vaping device.

    Abstract: In an example embodiment, a heater assembly for an electronic heating device includes a heating element and a support. The heating element includes a planar portion, a first lead, and a second lead. The planar portion includes a filament. The filament defines an air channel through the planar portion. The filament includes a plurality of curves. At least one of the curves has a tip thereon. At least one of the first lead portion, the second lead portion, or both the first lead portion and the second lead portion are generally coplanar with the planar portion of the heating element. The heating element is in contact with the support such that the tip of the at least one of the curves rests thereon.
