Abstract: Disclosed are various embodiments for a discovery service ledger registry used in the process of provisioning electronic subscriber identity modules (SIMs). In one embodiment, an event registration request is received by a subscription manager discovery service (SM-DS) abstraction layer from an entity operated by or on behalf of a connectivity service provider (CSP). The event registration request specifying a unique device hardware identifier and at least one of: a subscription manager data preparation (SM-DP) address or a SM-DP+ address associated with the CSP. The abstraction layer sends the event registration request to an SM-DS. The abstraction layer records the event registration request via a ledger registry service.

Abstract: Disclosed are various embodiments for bootstrapping for computing devices implementing functions for a radio-based network. In one embodiment, a request is received from a bootstrap agent executed in a computing device. A unique identifier presented by the bootstrap agent is verified. An installation recipe associated with the unique identifier and specified by a customer associated with the computing device is then determined. A secure communication channel with the bootstrap agent is created. The bootstrap agent installs an installation agent on the computing device. The installation agent installs and configures software on the computing device that implements one or more network functions for a radio-based network of the customer according to the installation recipe.

Abstract: Disclosed are various embodiments related to an entitlement service aggregation layer. In one embodiment, a request to enable or disable an entitlement for a device is received from a first system operated by or on behalf of a communication service provider (CSP). The device is identified by a unique device hardware identifier. A manufacturer of the device is identified based at least in part on the unique device hardware identifier. A second system operated by or on behalf of the manufacturer of the device is identified. The request to enable or disable the entitlement is sent to the second system. A result associated with the request is provided to the first system.

Abstract: Automatic onboarding of heterogeneous edge devices onto a client network may be performed (e.g., different types of edge devices manufactured by different vendors). A device onboarding and integration service may determine a type of edge device to be onboarded and based on the type of edge device, determine a particular type of device attestation to perform. Upon verifying the device, the service establishes a secure connection and registers the device. The service configures an agent and sends the agent to the device. The service also sends, to the device, a recipe of different locations for the device to download software components and to subscribe to services in order to complete the onboarding process.
