Abstract: Systems and methods for accountless device control are disclosed. For example, a smart device may be acquired and plugged in for use. The smart device may gain network connectivity and a system associated with the smart device may request enablement of an application for use with the smart device from another system, such as a system associated with a voice-enabled device. The other system may generate and send user identifier data, and the system associated with the smart device may generate a shadow account in association with the user identifier data. The application may be enabled in association with the shadow account, and access credentials may be exchanged to securely send and receive information associated with operation of the access device.

Abstract: Systems and methods for device-to-account anomaly detection are disclosed. For example, device information associated with user account data is queried from a user registry and from an external system. The device information from both sources is hashed or otherwise formatted and compared to determine whether a dissimilarity is present. A difference value may be generated and utilized to determine whether an anomaly is present for device-to-account associations as between the user registry and the external system. Utilizing the difference value and/or historical difference values associated with the external system, one or more actions for correcting the anomaly may be selected and performed.

Abstract: Systems and methods for device control by a natural language processing system are disclosed. A user may desire to utilize a voice-enabled device to associate an accessory device with a hub device without having to utilize third-party software associated with the accessory device and/or the hub device. The user may provide a user utterance to associate the accessory device with the hub device. Audio data corresponding to the user utterance may be analyzed and utilized to generate and send directive data to a third-party remote system to transition the hub device to a join mode. Upon association completion, audio may be output confirming that the association has been established successfully.

Abstract: Systems and methods for secure information exchange are disclosed. During setup of an accessory device in association with a voice-enabled device, token data may be generated and signed using a private encryption key by the accessory device. An accessory-device system associated with the accessory device may send a request for account identification including the token data to a remote system associated with the voice-enabled device. The remote system may determine if an application associated with the accessory-device system is enabled, and if enabled, may send the account identification in an encrypted format to the accessory-device system.
