    摘要: A cable connecting assembly includes a tubular member, a securing member, a seal unit, and a hollow barrel member that defines an accommodating space. The tubular member is disposed in the accommodating space and has two annular grooves. The securing member has a coupling portion abutting against the tubular member and threadedly engaging the barrel member, and an abutment portion abutting against the barrel member. The seal unit includes two first seal rings respectively disposed in the annular grooves and sealingly contacting an inner surface of the barrel member, and a second seal ring sleeved on the coupling portion of the securing member and sealingly contacting the inner surface of the barrel member and the abutment portion of the securing member.

    摘要: A method of sealing an optical cable is disclosed. The optical cable includes an outer jacket defining an interior space, an optical fiber assembly disposed in the interior space, and a plurality of reinforcing filaments disposed in the interior space between the outer jacket and the optical fiber assembly. The method includes the steps of peeling off one end of the outer jacket to expose one end of the optical fiber assembly and one ends of the reinforcing filaments, and introducing an adhesive into the interior space through an opening formed in the outer jacket when the one end of the outer jacket is peeled off so as to seal the opening and to fix the positions of the reinforcing filaments and the optical fiber assembly.
